To Whom It May Concern,
Tom Gommels of Master Builders did a large
remodeling job on our home in the fall of 2001. In making our decision
about which builder to work with, we interviewed 4 different builders,
all of whom were recommended by Craig Swanson who was the original
builder of our home. Of the 4 builders, Tom Gommels was the most
professionals, courteous, timely, and patient with our questions
and our request for more than one bid as we tried to determine
how many remodeling projects to try to do at one time.
Tom had all
the subcontractors at our house at the same time on the same day
and the bidding proposal was done in a professional and timely
manner. It was laid out well and the actual final price of the
project came in very close to the bid.
Our project manager was Doug
Batzlaff. We were extremely pleased with Doug's quality of work.
Doug had high expectations of the quality of the work done. He
was very good about calling and letting us know which subcontractors
would be working each day and what time they would be there. If
there were any problems with the subcontractors, Doug was very
willing and determined to take care of those problems. We had several
change orders, at our request, along the way and Doug was very
patient with each of those. Doug was very easy to work with. He
was polite, caring, patient, had a good sense of humor, and meticulous.
When
the project was completed, we were very pleased with all the work
that Master Builders had done on our home. If you would like to
call us to ask us further questions, please feel free to do that.
